Klein Tools has two more solutions for streamlining work that relies on precise alignment and layout. The Klein Self-Leveling Green Planar Laser Level is easy to read in any lighting condition while the compact tripod gives you a stable platform that adjusts easily and quickly.

Klein Tools’ new Self-Leveling Green Planar Laser Level is the high-performance laser leveling and alignment tool that professionals have been looking for. This level projects bright green 360° lines in the X, Y & Z planes, and plumb up and plumb down marks project measurements on the floor to ensure vertical lines are straight and corners are square. The level can also be quickly attached to the newly launched Tripod, allowing for easy rotation and stability, enabling a multitude of alignment and layout applications.

Though Klein has a growing collection of self-leveling lasers, the Green Planar Laser Level is their first that can tackle 360º of hi-vis laser coverage across the X, Y, and Z planes. Upward and downward plumb spots also mark the intersection of the Y and Z planes to help you keep your layouts straight and squared-up.

What’s also pretty helpful with the Klein Green Planar is the rechargeability. Rather than horsing around with AA or AAA batteries, you can recharge the Li-Ion battery via the included USB cable. Klein tells us that the level can run for around 9 hours on a charge.

In addition to the Green Laser Level, Klein has also released a lightweight aluminum tripod that works with all of their levels as well as any camera that uses a 1/4-20 mounting thread. The adjustable legs and non-skid feet give you stability even on uneven terrain, while the pan and tilt handle lets you adjust quickly and easily. An integrated bullseye level helps you keep the laser level on a flat plane. When the job’s done, you can collapse the tripod and store it away in the travel case.

You can pick up the Klein Rechargeable Self-Leveling Green Planar Laser Level for $249.99 anywhere that Klein Tools are sold. It comes with a 1-year warranty. Additionally, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to grab the Compact Tripod while you’re at it. That retails for $39.99.
